Saturday proved to be quite the day for us. We actually got a lot accomplished, but not quite what we were planning!
Faith came crying to me with an owie on her hand. She was bleeding and it seemed to her the end of the world (doesn't blood always mean the end of the world?). She told Thomas that a mouse bit her. Thomas found the cats and sure enough, they were playing with a dead mouse. Honestly! I guess Asia caught a mouse and Faith picked it up before it was dead. Well, Mooshu finished the mouse off and we took Faith, mouse and all to the instacare clinic to wait for 2 hours. Anyway, all is well and Faith is okay.
(Asia after her Tomato bath)
So, Asia got skunked for the 2nd time in two weeks. Aarrrrggggghhhhhh! Tomato sauce only goes so far in taking out the HORRIBLE smell. When it's so strong, it smells like burning rubber and onions. The kittens smell like skunk from their mama, therefore Faith and her friends who find it impossible not to drag the poor kittens around all day smell like skunk. I'm constantly changing Faith's clothes and washing her to get the skunk off of her. Anybody want a cat? How about a cat and 3 kittens? Wait... How about 2 cats and 3 kittens!
We got some more info on Rahel and another picture! She is adorable! Her last name is Enawgaw. Things are working out for us unusually well. We are truly grateful to the Lord for walking us through this adoption and leading us to our Rahel:)
