Since it was already written so beautifully, I decided to totally steal my friends blog post to explain my sprained ankle and pulled muscle in my arm.
"It's kind of funny to have a less-than-functional left foot and right arm. Those are the same appendages that my friend Intrepid was unable to use after she fell out of her car with her arm around her daughter and her foot caught in a seat belt. Both she and I couldn't drive after our injuries because we both have manual cars." - (by the way, I'm Intrepid in case you were wondering.)
